Port Royal set to return on Saturday for opening day

Port Royal Speedway is set to return this Saturday for their opening day for the 2025 racing season. The 410 sprint cars and super late models headline the day.

Sprint car fans will be treated to an exciting showdown as the 410 sprint cars take center stage, with drivers competing for a $6,000 to win payday as a part of a $26,000-plus total purse.

Defending track champion Mike Wagner has made a major addition to his team this season, bringing the five-time track champion and his son Logan as a teammate. They will be piloting No. 55 sprint cars, creating a strong combination that is sure to make headlines.

Super late models will also provide plenty of action, with drivers racing for a $4,000 winner’s share. Dylan Yoder enters the season as the defending track champion after securing his third career title in 2024.

Adding to the excitement off the track, fans in attendance will have the chance to walk away with an incredible prize as Port Royal Speedway will be giving away a 40-inch smart TV during the evening’s program.

Pit gates open at 1 p.m. and general admission gates open at 2 p.m.

After last weekends weather related loss Lincoln Speedway will be returning with another Saturday afternoon show. Grandstands open at 1 p.m. withi racing set to begin at 3 p.m.

On March 15 at BAPS Motor Speedway it is the season-opening super sportsman, late models, legends and practice after the features.

On Sunday, March 16 Williams Grove Speedway will kick off its racing action with gates opening at noon and racing set for 2 p.m.

Friday April 11 will be the opening day for the new promotional team at Selinsgrove Speedway.Sunday April 6 will be the opener at Clinton County Speedway.
