The District 6 playoff brackets were released for both boys and girls soccer this weekend.

In girls Class AA, top-seeded Bald Eagle Area hosts eighth-seeded Penns Valley on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal matchup. The winner will face either fifth-seeded Huntingdon or fourth-seeded Forest Hills.

Third-seeded Central faces sixth-seeded Juniata in the bottom half of the bracket and seventh-seeded Central Cambria heads to second-seeded Cambria Heights in the other quarterfinal matchup.

In Class AAA, Bellefonte enters the playoffs as the second seed in the four-team field. Hollidaysburg is the top seed and hosts Tyrone. Bellefonte hosts third-seeded Somerset on Thursday at 5:30 pm.

On the boys side, Bellefonte enters Class AAA as the top seed in the tournament and hosts Tyrone at 7:30 p.m. as part of a Raiders doubleheader with the girls. The boys Class AAA field is just four teams. On the bottom side of the bracket, third-seeded Central Mountain heads to second-seeded Hollidaysburg on Wednesday for a. 5p.m. matchup.
