AP’s liberal bias on full display

In last Monday’s edition of this newspaper, the Associated Press presidential election bias was on full display for all to see. Two separate AP articles were published, side by side, in an apparent attempt to show fair and equal coverage of both presidential campaigns. One article covered Republican VP candidate J.D. Vance’s series of TV interviews on the previous Sunday. The other article covered Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s remarks, made as she campaigned across Philadelphia on Sunday.
In the Vance article the AP offered Democratic points of view twice. First referencing Harris’s criticism on Trump’s relationship with Russia, and secondly referencing Trump critic Liz Cheney’s criticism of Trump’s actions regarding U.S. allies.
In the Harris article there wasn’t a single criticism of anything Harris said while in Philly, and no reference of any type to Republican points of view regarding her remarks. The entire article was a Harris love fest, to the extent that one has to wonder if it was actually written by a journalist, or was it a press release from the Harris campaign that the reporter simply added their name to?
So much for fair and equal coverage of both campaigns. I hope your readers find this type of reporting an insult to their intelligence, because that’s exactly what it is.
