Betty Lou Litz

Betty Lou Litz, 98, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehab.

Born Jan. 9, 1927 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Lynn Myers, Sr. and Lila Tressler Bauer.

Betty was employed at Lock Haven University in housekeeping for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Betty is survived by her son, Gary Lee (Peggy) Litz, of Avis; two grandchildren, David and Steven (Brittany) Litz, of Lock Haven; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Myers, Jr.

Private services will be held at the convenience of her family with burial to follow at Dunnstown Cemetery, Lock Haven.
