Delores A. ‘Dee’ Hubit

Delores A. “Dee” Hubit, 97, of Williamsport, Pa., passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, in Williamsport.

Delores was born in Kearny, N.J., to Frank and Alice Leaver on June 4, 1927.

She worked as a Buyer for Britt’s Department Store and in finance at Lakehurst Naval Air Station.

She enjoyed Bingo, crosswords, casinos and coloring. She recently completed PEER course training and was recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.

Delores is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Arcadipane (Dennis), of Dunnstown, Pa.; and sons, Thomas Mitchell (Jean), of Florida, and Charles Mitchell, Jr. (Carol), of Texas. Dee is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; two husbands; three children; and one grandchild, Dante A. Battilla.

Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, are handling the funeral arrangements.

There will be no public visitation.
