David M. Williams

David M. Williams, 53, of Avis, passed away on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Nov. 28, 1970 in Lock Haven, he was the only child of David L. and Beverly Hayes Williams.

David was a 1989 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from Lock Haven University.

He was employed as the Quality Manager at APP, Advanced Powder Products, Philipsburg.

When younger, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his dirt bike. He loved nothing more, though, than cooking.

In addition to his parents, David and Beverly Williams, of Watsontown, he is survived by his children, Lauren Williams, of S. Williamsport, Conner (Jessica) Williams, of Flemington, and Trista Myers, of Avis; his girlfriend of eight years, Michelle Parsons, of Avis; his granddaughter, Adelynne; and his beagle, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Delmont and Kathryn Williams; and maternal grandparents, George and Dorothy Hayes.

Private services will be held for his family.

Interment will be at Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Lamar.
