Laura R. Hoffman, 44, of Blanchard, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side.

Born May 12, 1980 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of George and Western (Stout) Rhodes.

She was married on Aug. 28, 2009 to Ben T. Hoffman. They celebrated 14 years of marriage together.

Laura was a manager for Home Goods in State College and also worked at Target. She enjoyed decorating, cooking, baking and traveling.

She graduated from Empire Beauty School in Williamsport where she received her cosmetology license. She also specialized in hair and makeup.

Laura was a member of Blanchard Church of Christ. She was a 1998 graduate of Central Mountain High School. She was also a licensed PA Insurance agent.

Surviving are her loving husband; three sons, Cole, Liam and Harrison; her mother, Western Rhodes, of Blanchard; two brothers, Andrew (Heather) Rhodes, of Dry Run, and Nathan (Kelly) Rhodes, of Waynesboro; a sister, Sherri (Douglas) Daniels, of Beech Creek; her maternal grandmother, Anne Stout, of Salladasburg; and her pet dog, Remmington.

She was preceded in death by her father, George “Dusty” Rhodes.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at the Blanchard Church of Christ, 161 Beach St., Blanchard, with the Rev. Dr. Russell Moldovan officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.

Burial will follow at Hayes-Fearon-Bossert Cemetery, Beech Creek.
