DUI on view drugs

PLEASANT GAP — Thomas Wood, 42, of Pleasant Gap, was arrested on Aug. 5, shortly after midnight, on the 200 block of South Main Street in Spring Township for driving under the influence after being stopped in his 2007 Chevrolet, according to state police at Rockview.

Two-vehicle crash

WOODWARD — On Sept. 13, a two car crash occurred on South Route 45, Penns Valley Road, in Haines Township near the intersection of Sports Camp Drive, according to state police at Rockview.

Tokie Shirai, 44, of Woodward, was traveling westbound on Penns Valley Road in her 2024 Chrysler Voyager leaving Woodward Children’s Camp when she observed Gabriel Deemer, 22, of Wapwallopen, Pa., heading east in his 1997 Ford F250 Supercab on the same road, police said.

Shirai panicked and attempted to drive onto the left shoulder. While crossing into the Ford’s lane, the Chrysler was struck by Deemer’s vehicle, police said.

According to police, neither driver was charged and Millheim Fire and Pleasant Gap EMS assisted on the scene.

Assault

TUSSEYVILLE — Matthew Butler, 36, of Williamsport, was arrested and taken to the Centre County Jail on the evening of Aug. 2 on multiple charges related to a domestic dispute, according to state police at Rockview.

The victim, a 39-year-old woman from Spring Mills, made contact with the police upon arrival and was seen with visible recent injuries, according to police.

Harassment

UNIONVILLE — Blythe Reavis, 38, of Julian, was charged with harassment after police responded to an address on Dix Run Road in Union Township for a report of an argument that devolved into pushing and shoving, according to state police at Rockview.

The Sept. 13 incident involved a 15-year-old girl from Howard, police said.
