Teen cited for theft

LOCK HAVEN — A 14-year-old Lock Haven male was cited with retail theft following an incident on July 30, Lock Haven City Police said.

At approximately 2:50 p.m., the juvenile entered a business at 437 Bellefonte Ave. and asked to see a vape from behind the counter and then left the business, police said.

DUI charge

LOCK HAVEN — A 65-year-old Lock Haven woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Henderson Street on Aug. 11, Lock Haven City Police said.

The woman was first seen driving in the area of East Walnut Street and Hanna Street, before officers stopped her in the parking lot of 4 N. Henderson St., where she was found to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Three charged with theft

LOCK HAVEN — Ashley Ruggiers, 38, of Lock Haven, Destini Tressler, 39, of Lock Haven, and Keith Tressler, 43, also of Lock Haven, were all arrested for theft and receiving stolen property, Lock Haven City Police said.

On Aug. 17, between 12:01 a.m. and 6:14 a.m., the three allegedly took items from the Goodwill, 120 E. Walnut St., police said.

The total amount of the items taken was $459.08.

Animal Cruelty

LOCK HAVEN — Kyle Grey, 34, of Lock Haven, was cited with cruelty to animals after an incident on Aug. 29, at 2:51 a.m., when Grey allegedly grabbed his dog and threw it face first into a wall at 11 S. Jones St., Lock Haven City Police said.

Vehicle crash

RENOVO — On Aug. 31, Renovo Borough Police investigated a one vehicle crash in the 9400 Block of Renovo Road, in the area of Green Acres Lane in Chapman Township.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. when a 2008 Buick Lacrosse was traveling west on the roadway and left the right side, police said.

The vehicle struck a large rock, causing severe damage and disabling the vehicle with airbag deployment, police said.

The driver, 82-year-old Robert Walters, of North Bend, was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motors.

Police were assisted on-scene by Chapman Township Fire Department and Renovo EMS.
