Unique learning: Liberty-Curtin kindergarteners learn about letters in hands-on lesson

On Monday, kindergarten students at Liberty Curtin Elementary School joined the letters Q and U in holy matrimony in a hands-on lesson. Students in Nichole Masullo and Suzanne Rainey’s classes participated in a special ceremony with Principal Brett Umbenhouer, to better understand the relationship between the two letters in spelling and writing. The lesson included a reception with gifts that began with the letters QU, cupcakes and dancing.
