Citizens Hose Company in Lock Haven celebrates members with dinner

LOCK HAVEN — The Citizens Hose Company No. 5 of the Lock Haven Fire Department recently held an End of the Year Dinner, celebrating another year of hard work and camaraderie at The Village Tavern in Lock Haven.

Just as the dinner was wrapping up, the station received a call, proving that there’s never a dull moment in their line of work.

During the event, Citizens Hose shared statistics from their 2024 Year End Review.

The total number of incidents responded to was 697. Among these, they were dispatched to 54 structure fires, with 29 of them being working fires. They also handled 17 motor vehicle accidents with entrapment, confirming entrapment in eight of those cases.

Looking ahead to 2025, Citizens Hose announced their new officers:
