UPCOMING EVENTS

The Wayne Township recreation committee has a lot of exciting events planned:

— Beginning April 5 and running until April 12, the committee is having an Easter egg and bunny tree contest open to all children. Count how many eggs and bunnies you see in the tree by the white bench. Get your entry form at pavilion one and see how many you can count and return your guess to the container in the pavilion. A prize will be awarded to the entry with the correct guess or the closest to the correct number. This contest is being sponsored by the Wayne Township Recreation Committee, Truck Lite Community Committee and the Wayne Township Supervisors.

— Beginning April 5 and running until April 12, the committee has Easter bunnies hidden throughout the Wayne Township Nature Park. Take a walk and see how many you can find. The bunnies are very small. The contest is open to all children. The entry forms can be picked up at pavilion one and once you complete your walk throughout the nature park complete your entry form and drop it in the container at the pavilion. A prize will be awarded to the entry that guesses how many bunnies are throughout the park or to the one that is the closest.
