— Bingo at Mill Hall Fire Hall every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
— Donkey basketball to benefit the FFA clubs at Penns Valley High and State College High. The PV Rams will take on the Little Lions at 7 p.m. in the Penns Valley High School old gym. Tickets are $8 presale or $10 at the door. Email bshunk@pennsvalley.org for info or tickets. Doors open at 6 p.m. and a concession stand will be available.
— Stargazing at Rider Park, 9 p.m. Must arrive between 8:15-8:45 p.m. to join Central Pa. Observers and Lycoming College Physics students for a stargazing session. Bring chairs, blankets and warm clothes. You can bring your own telescope if you have one. Registration is requested.
— Clinton County Speedway races at 7:30 p.m.
TOMORROW
— Logan Grange Soup Sale, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until sold out. Soup will be $9 per quart and available at Logan Grange Hall, 122 N. Main St., Pleasant Gap. 814-360-5756 to pre-order.

— Bird Walk at Rider Park from 8-10 a.m. Join Lycoming Audubon Society and the park manager for a leisurely stroll to identify birds while walking the trails adjacent to the meadow. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring binoculars if you have them.
— KBR Bingo to benefit Timmy Bittner Racing, 1 p.m. Doors open at 11 a.m. at KBR Bingo hall, Piper Museum, 3rd floor.
— Little Pine State Park’s Birding at the Eagle Watch, 9:30 a.m. See how to identify the birds at the park. There will be a limited number of binoculars on hand, along with a spotting scope. Participants should bring other bird-watching gear if desired. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Program may be cancelled if inclement weather. Meet at the Eagle Watch.
— Native Plant Sale, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Rider Park, inside the new picnic pavilion. Lycoming College LEAF and Lycoming Audubon Society will host a native plant sale, cash only.
— Dr. Phoebe Wagner will hold a seminar on environmental creative writing at Rider Park, 1-3 p.m. Meet Dr. Wagner, a local published author, and receive some creative writing tips. Registration is required for the seminar.
— Ferguson Township is excited to invite the community to celebrate Arbor Day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Haymarket Park, 1631 Bristol Avenue, State College, Pa. A designated Tree City USA community and home to abundant green spaces and woodlands, Ferguson Township is committed to preserving the environment. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Healthy Trees, Healthy Township,” highlighting the vital role trees play in creating a sustainable, vibrant community. The celebration will feature family-friendly activities, including a tree planting ceremony, bucket truck rides, tree seedling giveaway, arts and crafts, light refreshments and more! — Truck Stuff and More/SSRTA Spaghetti Dinner will be held. Snow Shoe Rails to Trails members, ride as you please and return to the Moshannon Community Center, 1351 W. Sycamore Road, Moshannon, Pa., around 11:30 a.m. for a delicious Spaghetti Dinner. Meal includes all you can eat spaghetti w/ salad, dessert and beverages. Meal served starting at 11:30 a.m. until gone. Public welcome for meal and take out will be available. The meal is $12 and kids under 6 eat FREE. The Pine Creek Four Wheelers will also be having a Dice Run during this event.*You must be an SSRTA member to operate a machine at this event. Memberships will be available to purchase at the event.
— Sugar Valley Fire Company’s all-you-can-eat Spaghetti Supper, 4-7 p.m. Meal includes spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, salad bar, desserts and drinks. Adults $12; $8 for ages 6-12. Younger kiddos can eat free.
— Wine in the Wilds at Clinton County Fairgrounds, 2-6 p.m. Tickets on sale at www.wineinthewilds.com or at the Heisey House Museum.
SUNDAY
— Liberty Township Sportsmans Association turkey shoot. Registration at 9 a.m. Shoot starts at 9:30 a.m.
— Penn State Trombones will be in concert at Howard United Methodist Church, 9 a.m.
— Native Plant Sale, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Rider Park, inside the new picnic pavilion. Lycoming College LEAF and Lycoming Audubon Society will host a native plant sale, cash only.
— Join Rider Park manager Sara Street to help plant trees and conduct park maintenance to enhance bird habitat, 1-3 p.m. Registration is required.
— Country Jam will be held at the Howard fire hall from 2 – 6 p.m. Hosted by the Back Porch String Band. It’s an afternoon of free music, snacks and fellowship. If you have an instrument, bring it along and play with the bands that are there, or you can come just to listen to the hand-clappin’, toe-tappin’ tunes!
MONDAY
— Colleen Musgrave with Blooming Meadows Farm will be on the SVRCS campus library at 236 E. Main St., Loganton, from 6-8 p.m., for a DIY class. Each participant will make three melt and pour bars of goats milk soap — creating/choosing your own scents and colors. Also included will be three bath bombs of your choice. This class costs $35 per person and reservations must be made by contacting Dawn by email at djeffries@svrcs.org or 570-367-1351.
