Chi Rho Singers

The Chi Rho Singers, made up of clergy members from the wider region, will give a concert Thursday, April 24, at 7 p.m., in Covenant United Methodist Church, 44-46 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Everyone is invited to enjoy their free concert featuring a variety of music. Cash donations will be collected for the Blessings in a Backpack program that helps feed local kids.

Spring in song

The Lock Haven Community Chorus will present their spring concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, in Covenant United Methodist Church, 44-46 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Everyone is invited to the free concert.

Hazardous Waste Collection

Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Friday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. To participate, Centre County residents must schedule an appointment online since drop offs are by appointment only. Visit www.centrecountyrecycles.org to complete the form with your name and email and select your appointment time. A listing of everything that will be accepted is also posted on the website.
