Herb Guild meeting

The Clinton County Herb Guild will hold their meeting on Monday, April 14, at 6 p.m. Sue Morris of Sue’s Salves and winner of the 2023 PA Wilds Artisan of the Year Award will give her presentation “Herbal Allies: The medicinal, nutritional, economic and ecological benefits of herbal medicine.” Don’t miss the article about Sue in The Express this week! Our meetings are open to the public, so please feel free to join us! The meeting will be held at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St, Lock Haven. Please use the rear entrance.

Country Jam

Country Jam will be held at the Howard fire hall on Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. Hosted by the Back Porch String Band, Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday of each month, except in December. It’s an afternoon of free music, snacks and fellowship. If you have an instrument, bring it along and play with the bands that are there, or you can come just to listen to the hand-clappin’ and toe-tappin’ tunes!
