Ross Library announces various upcoming events
LOCK HAVEN — The Annie Halenbake Ross Library has announced a variety of upcoming events that include:
Story Time for Little Explorers (Ages 2-5)
Welcome to Story Time for Little Explorers, a delightful and engaging program designed for children aged 2 to 5 years old on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. in the Gould Room. Join library members for a magical journey filled with stories, songs, bubbles and crafts that will spark your child’s imagination and creativity!
The adventure begins by reading two enchanting stories chosen specifically for their captivating illustrations and simple, yet engaging narratives. These tales are perfect for young minds, encouraging listening skills and a love for reading.
After the storytelling session, it’s time to get musical! Program runners will introduce a fun and easy-to-learn song that will have everyone singing and moving along. This activity promotes language development and rhythm awareness.
What’s more magical than bubbles? This event will bring out the bubble wands and create a bubbly wonderland. Watching and chasing bubbles helps develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination, all while having a blast!
The final activity will be a simple and enjoyable craft project. Little hands will get busy with colorful materials, creating a masterpiece to take home. This activity fosters creativity, fine motor skills and a sense of accomplishment.
Come and be part of this Story Time for Little Explorers! It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to socialize, learn and play in a supportive and joyful environment. The library looks forward to seeing you and your little one for a morning of fun and discovery.
