— Howard Area Lions Food Bank distribution, noon to 3 p.m., at former Beech Creek Elementary School. Bring a sturdy box for food bank use.

— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.

TOMORROW

— Cookie Decorating Class at Friendship Community Library, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Class is free, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate supplies. The Friendship Community Library will be open from 3-7 p.m.

— Le Consort ensemble debuts at PSU Recital Hall, 7:30 p.m. Tickets at 814-863-0255.

WEDNESDAY

— Lycoming Audubon Society program about Bird Town Pennsylvania presented by Heidi Shiver, at 6:30 p.m., at the Taber Museum, 858 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

— Grief share program at Mackeyville United Methodist Church, 7 p.m. Open to the public on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

THURSDAY

— The Centre County Board of Elections meeting is at 1 p.m. in the Willowbank Building at 420 Holmes St., Bellefonte.

— LHHS and ICHS Class of 1964 monthly luncheon at 1 p.m., at the Venture Inn. All classmates and their guests are invited. Call Donna at 570-748-6821 to make your reservations.

— Howard Area Lions Bingo at BC Fire Co. social hall, 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

— Milesburg Lions Bingo at Milesburg Community Center at 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

— Haunted Tours, 7 p.m., beginning at Triangle Park, to benefit Highland Cemetery Association, $5 per person.

— Waiting Together, a support group of adults waiting for incarcerated loved ones, meets from 6-7:30 p.m. at Gamble Farm Inn, Jersey Shore. Meetings are held the second and fourth Thursday’s of each month.

FRIDAY

— Bean and Bailey comedy group will be live at Flemington First Church of Christ. Tickets are $25 general admission or $40 for the VIP package that includes a meal and a meet and greet. Tickets available by calling the church office at 570-726-8009.

— Mill Hall Vol. Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Friday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors and the kitchen open at 5:30 p.m. The fire station and social room are located at 9 Peale Ave., Mill Hall.

— Haunted Tours, 10 p.m., beginning at Triangle Park, to benefit Highland Cemetery Association, $5 per person.

SATURDAY

— Howard Scout Troop will be “Scouting for Food” in Howard. Have your donations of food to benefit the local food bank in a plastic bag and placed on your porch before 8 a.m. for the scouts to pick up. Donations can also be dropped off at Howard United Methodist Church if the scouts miss getting yours. Call 814-625-2182 for info on the Howard Scouts.

— Halloween Parade in Lock Haven, 10 a.m. Vehicles and floats should line up at 9:30 a.m. in the area of North Henderson Street. Floats will be given awards. Parade ends at Triangle Park where free games and refreshments will be given out. In case of rain, an indoor party will be held at the Eastside Fire Rescue on E. Church St., formerly Hope Hose Fire Co.

— Hear the personal story of Dioany Yosuino, a young lady who received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox as a young girl in Venezuela, at 1 p.m. at the Park Forest Baptist Church, 3030 Carnegie Drive, State College. You’ll also learn how to pack a shoebox for OCC this year. If you want, bring your packed and ready shoebox to the church, a drop off point for this year’s OCC shoebox collection.
