Trunk or Treat

Clintondale United Methodist Church will hold a Trunk or Treat tonight from 6-7:30 p.m. at the church.

Donut sale

There will be fresh homemade donuts for sale on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., use the Glover St. Entrance. It would be best to call Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and preorder your donuts at 570-398-2913. Extra donuts are made and will be available for walk-in sales from 7 a.m. on the day of the sale until 4 p.m., unless sold out sooner. The cost is $7 a dozen and $3.50 for a half dozen. There will be no December sale so you are encouraged to buy extra. They freeze beautifully!

Senior Socials

​SVRCS has resumed their monthly Senior Socials and will meet the second Friday of each month through April (but not in February — staff inservice). The next meeting will be on Friday, Nov. 8. We will begin at 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. in the gym lobby at 236 E. Main St., Loganton. Activities, entertainment, food and games will be provided. Let us serve you! Bring your senior friends and family and fill the room! No reservation is needed.
