TODAY

— LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1964 will meet for a monthly luncheon at 1 p.m. at the Hublersburg Inn. All classmates and their guests are invited. Contact Donna at 570-748-6821 to make your reservation.

— Hammermill “office girls” reunion luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at 9 Irons Restaurant.

— Free movie, “Shrek,” will be shown at 4:30 p.m. at Friendship Community Library in Beech Creek. Families are invited. Drinks are allowed as long as they have a lid to prevent spills. Library is open from 3-7 p.m.

— Howard Area Lions Bingo, 6:30 p.m., at BC Fire Co. social hall. Doors open at 5 p.m.

— Milesburg Lions Bingo at Milesburg Community Center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

— Chanticleer performing “Sing Joyfully” at Eisenhower Auditorium, 7:30 p.m. 12-voice ensemble features uplifting arrangements of spirituals, folk songs and commissions.

— Waiting Together, a support group of adults waiting for incarcerated loved ones, meets from 6-7:30 p.m. at Gamble Farm Inn, Jersey Shore. Meetings are held the second and fourth Thursday’s of each month.

TOMORROW

— Clinton and Union County seniors are encouraged to join State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz (R-Clinton, Union) at her Senior Citizens Expo. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Clinton County Community Center-STEP Inc., 124 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven.

— Josh Turner performing at Community Arts Center, Williamsport.

— Mill Hall Vol. Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Friday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors and the kitchen open at 5:30 p.m. The fire station and social room are located at 9 Peale Ave., Mill Hall.

SATURDAY

— Gregg Township Fire Company’s annual gun raffle Doors open at 11 a.m., drawings are held from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 or 3/$20.

— The Milesburg Museum and Historical Society will be hosting a car show and community day, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children’s pedal bike show, food, raffle and so many more fun activities!

— Rauchtown-Nippenose Lions Club is having a car show and chicken BBQ at Crawford Township Park on Rte. 880, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration will be open from 9 a.m. until noon, $10 entry fee. — Fire safety event, noon to 4 p.m., at Logan Fire Company’s station house across the street from the Bellefonte Library. Families are invited to come to meet firemen, see the fire fighting equipment and learn about fire safety topics. Mock fire simulation will allow kids to practice how they can be a hero in saving lives.

— Loose Cats, playing Rock, Lite Pop and Country, 8 p.m., at Harmonia Club, 332 E. 7th St., Williamsport.

SUNDAY

— National Hunting and Fishing Day at Bald Eagle State Park, 12-4 p.m., at Pavilions # 3 and #4. Pre-registration is required. Fun filled day, free of charge, for all ages.

MONDAY

— Art Class with George Stefanski, 4:30 – 6 p.m., at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. For those 12 years and older.

— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.

TUESDAY

— LHHS Class of 1970 will hold a reunion planning meeting at 6 p.m. at the Shamrock in Lock Haven. Classmates should bring their thoughts and ideas for the 55th class reunion next summer. Call Beth at 570-748-9103 for info.

— Red Cross Blood Drive at STEP center, 124 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, 12:30-5 p.m.

— The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer’s activity group, will be meeting from 1-3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Fishers of Men, a Sugar Valley based gospel group, will be performing from 1-2 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy the performance. Following the concert, Covenant Cafe volunteer Roberta Muthler will conduct a puppet activity using finger puppets. Refreshments will be served.

— Bellefonte Area School Board Meeting at Bellefonte Middle School, 7 p.m. Public is invited.

— KBR Bingo, every Tuesday night, at Piper Museum Building, 3rd floor, Lock Haven. Early bird game at 6:15 p.m. Regular Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Call Mike for info at 570-786-1343.

WEDNESDAY

— Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting, noon, at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall. Come see and help to sort all of the items that will then be distributed during the annual Knit N’ Run being held on Oct. 5.

— Clinton County Historical Society take-out spaghetti dinner fundraiser at Sons of Italy, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven, Pick up meals from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available from any CCHS board member.
