Frank W. Meskell, 78, of Beech Creek, passed away on July 4, 2012 at the Gatehouse in Divine Providence Hospital.
Frank was born in Beech Creek on Jan. 25, 1934.
He was a farmer, construction worker and owned his own business. After retiring, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed camping. He was a state campsite host for 21 years and loved camping with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Meskell; step-sons and step-daughters, Anna (Gary) Bathurst, Pearl (Ashley) Gardner, Mary (Gary) Laubscher, Donald (Rosa) Andrus, Meloday Andrus, Ethan (Bonnie) Andrus and Larry Andrus; nieces, nephews, many grandchidlren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Anna Tarman of Show Shoe, Elanore Stewart of State College and Ruth Hitinlang of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Meskell Jr.; his mother, Mary Nestlerode; father, Bob Meskell; a brother Robert Meskell and an infant son, Mark W. Meskell.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, in Donald G. Walker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with visitation from 1 p.m. until time of services. Pastor Ed Claybaugh will officiate.
