BELLEFONTE - The death of a 15-year-old male in Haines Township Tuesday is being investigated, Tpr. Brian Wakefield of the Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview said. Police said the teen was found dead at his home. The cause of death is unknown, but no foul play is suspected, police said.
JERSEY SHORE - Caleb Thomas Braim, 20, of 206 Staver St., was cited for underage drinking Tuesday at 12:30 am., Tpr. T. Doebler of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said. Police said Braim, a passenger in a motor vehicle at the time, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Hit and run
BEECH CREEK - A wire fence was damaged in a hit-and-run accident at Falls Road and Laurel Run Road Monday, Tpr. Ickes of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said the unidentified vehicle left the road, crashed into the wire fence, and left ruts in a field. Anybody with information is asked to contact police at 726-6000.
MACKEYVILLE - A 13-year-old Montgomery teen was charged with possession of marijuana for a Jan. 10 incident, Tpr. Christopher Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said the teen was found with marijuana in her possession at the Meadows of Clinton and Lycoming County in Lamar Township.
LOCK HAVEN - No injuries occurred in a hit-and-run, pedestrian-car accident Monday at 4:50 p.m. at the parking lot of Walker's Hardware Store in the city, Tpr. Shane M. Buffone of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said the unidentified driver backed a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee into Leanna Umholtz, 32, of Lock Haven, and left the scene in an unknown direction.
MILL HALL - William Yost, 28, of Mill Hall was cited for harassment Tuesday at 5:35 p.m. at a home along Pennsylvania Avenue in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. Kline of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said Yost and a 24-year-old female were arguing when Yost struck the woman.
RENOVO - An unidentified 32-year-old Renovo man will be cited for harassment for a confrontation Wednesday at 4 p.m. at 531 Ontario Ave., Tpr. Confer of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.
Police said the man and a woman, 38, also of Renovo, were arguing when the suspect subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact.
