HYNER - An explosion and heavy fire reportedly destroyed a rural hunting camp off of Dry Run Road in western Clinton County this evening, resulting in one injury from burns, according to reports out of the county 911 Emergency Services Center.
Reports near the scene indicate it was a hunting camp and that a propane gas tank exploded, injuring a camp occupant.
The injured man was reportedly being taken to Lock Haven Hospital for eventual transport by helicopter to either Geisinger or Lehigh Valley Burn Center.
The Express has staff on the scene.
Dry Run Road is just off state Route 120, just northwest of the village of Hyner. Route 120 was temporarily closed.
Various fire companies were called to the scene while others were placed on standby.
