Once again, the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club has shown what a caring and giving organization it is! Recently, the Third Annual Jodi Warshaw Poker Run and Benefit was held to benefit the Clinton County Women's Center and those in our area who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The staff, board members, volunteers, and interns wish to send out their deepest THANK YOUS to this wonderful organization and all the members who had any part in this very music-packed, fun-filled, and caring-sharing day. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the SVBTMC and all those associated with this wonderful club.

I would like to APPLAUD Abe Stauffer and Karl Herman for running another great soccer camp for the West Branch Soccer Club. My son went for the third year and he had another fun time and learned a lot of soccer skills. The coaching staff was very helpful and knew how to relate to kids. They were knowledgeable and knew how to teach skills to the campers. My son can't wait to start his fall soccer season to show off his new and improved skills. Keep up the good work you guys do on behalf of soccer and kids.

We are very grateful to the various individuals who did what needed to be done to keep the Mill Hall Community Pool open another season. Many of these individuals have gone above and beyond the call of duty because they believe this community needs a safe place for young and old alike to swim during the summer months. We would like to express our THANKS to Ken McGhee, Kelly McGhee, Carol Matheney, Mill Hall Borough Council, the Friends of the Pool Committee and anyone else who had a role in keeping the pool in operation. We enjoy cooling off there during the summer and have taken out-of-town guests there on numerous occasions. In fact, four of our grandchildren who live in Centre County have also enjoyed swimming there the past several seasons. The "free swim" days and "half off" days were a nice touch this year, too. We'd like to encourage others in the community to get involved in keeping the only public outdoor swimming venue in Clinton County alive for years to come.

Citizens Hose Company of South Renovo would like to THANK everyone for making the craft sale a huge success. Thank you to everyone who made a basket, they were awesome. Thank you to everyone who made baked goods and came out to support us. To the firemen and their wives, a big thank you. The money will help with the ever-rising cost of keeping the fire company running.
