Kelly Marie Gorasi, daughter of Elissa and Mark Strouse, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and the late Joseph Gorasi of Williamsport, and granddaughter of Don and Marilyn Miller, Jersey Shore, became the bride of Arturo Michael Alvarez, son of Cosme and Maria Alvarez, Lincoln University, on June 7, 2008.

The ceremony was held at 1 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in West Chester.

Maid of Honor was Lisa Gorasi, Port St. Lucie, Fla., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shahara Fox, Williamsport; Jennifer Dougherty, Nottingham; and Lindsay Garner of Newberry, Fla. Dulce Maria Alvarez, sister of the groom, was flower girl.

Marcos Alvarez, Lincoln University, brother of the groom was best man. Ushers were Jason Deecki, Nottingham; Juan Lemus, Lincoln University; and Trevor Casey, Nottingham.

The rehearsal dinner and reception were held at The Holiday Inn West Chester.

The bride and groom graduated from Oxford Area High School, Oxford, in 2006.

The bride is a vet tech at Jonesville Animal Hospital in Newberry, Fla., and is studying for her vet tech certification.

The groom is assistant manager at Finish Line, Gainesville, Fla., and a student in Business Administration at Sante Fe Community College, Gainesville, Fla.

The couple resides in Newberry, Fla.
