Claira K. "Katie" Walker, 65, of 315 N. Hanna St., Lock Haven, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at the Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit.

She was born in Lock Haven on April 18, 1943, a daughter of the late James C. Bilbay and Elva June Wheeler Bilbay, who survives in Lock Haven.

She married Guy J. Walker Sr., who preceded her in death.

She was a 1961 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Earlier in her life she was employed by the former Coppes and Thorson Grocery Store.

She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and crafts. She loved her Pugs, "Quinci" and "Winnie Pooh."

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Ferrara of Lock Haven; a sister, Gloria Ann Worden (Richard Reeder) of Loganton; a niece, Charity (Duane) Fox; a nephew, Troy Haines; great-nieces, Nicole and Amanda Haines and Aryana Fox; and great-nephews, Kyle and Tylor Fox.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall. Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in Katie's name in care of the funeral home.
