It’s time to support the program
Never been a big message board kind of guy. With the exception of one about Notre Dame football, I really don’t frequent them often. Message boards can be great tools, don’t get me wrong. Updates on current athletes. Changes of schedules are posted by fans when ugly weather hits. People are sometimes quicker to post their observations of specific contests they attended, which is great insight if you can’t go yourself. Sometimes, though, the talk is nothing but that: Talk. I walked into the Thomas Fieldhouse for a volleyball match recently, and heard people talking about Rocky Bonomo’s retirement article being posted on several sites across cyber space. They were right. This isn’t a column about Bonomo and his career at Lock Haven University. I’m not here to judge if he did or didn’t do his job as a wrestling coach. The facts and statistics are out there. I’ll let everyone make their own decisions and formulate their own conclusions. What I will do is two things. No.
