A model that can work
The announcement probably surprised some. I know it got me thinking. Lock Haven was hiring Doug Moore to coach both men’s and women’s soccer. Huh? I’m the first to admit. Soccer isn’t my forte. Honestly, I have nothing against the sport. I don’t really understand the rules, although I will attend a game here and there to watch. I’m more of the basketball-baseball-football type-of-person. Just thinking about it, I personally couldn’t fathom coaching two teams — nevermind two collegiate teams that are looking to compete at the highest level. I know one thing, though. If there is a person who can do it, it’s Moore. Just prior to an interview, he was on the phone talking about a potential recruit. OK, the schedule does set up nicely. In fact, it’s like it was planned. There is only one clash.
